Ken Harbin is an Accredited Associate of the Institute for Independent Business. The Institute was formed in 1984 just outside of London for the purpose of organizing former business owners and chief executive officers to mentor and advise owners/decison makers (MDO) of small to medium sized businesses. Today, the Institute has over 4,500 Associates located throughout the world from every business imaginable. As a condition of accreditation, every Associate agrees to donate some of his/her time each month to meet with the MDO's of small to medium sized businesses to discuss their goals, dreams, concerns and anything else the MDO wishes to talk about. At the conclusion of their discussion, the Associate will offer his/her thoughts, ideas, suggestions and hopefully will point the MDO in the right direction by providing ''practical advice that works''.

The most common concerns are: not enough sales, can't pay my bills, high employee turnover, not enough time for me.
