Community: 40th FM 1960 St. Patrick's Day Parade!

   
This year is the 40^th anniversary of the FM 1960 St. Patrick’s Parade. This year the parade will honor the Heroes of Harvey, including our area firefighters and police officers who rescued thousands of people from the flood waters. The parade also honors Cypress Creek EMS whose Communications Center fielded more than 12,000 calls and dispatched area fire departments to high water rescues and the CCEMS medics who navigated around flood waters to reach 834 patients between August 25 and August 31. This year’s Grand Marshal is another Harvey Hero, Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale.

The parade is on Sunday, March 11, 2018, at 2:00 pm. FM 1960 (Cypress Creek Parkway) begins closing down from Champion Forest to Kuykendahl at 1 pm and will remain closed until approximately 5 pm. For more information on the parade including sponsorship information go to www.1960Parade.com
