Hamra Enterprises, a family-owned franchise since 1975, is proud to bring 50 years of people-first hospitality experience to Houston, Spring, Katy, and Conroe. This is Hamra’s first entry into Texas and marks its expansion into its 12th state. Since 1998, Hamra Enterprises has been a Panera Bread franchisee, cultivating a close partnership with the brand. It has grown its Panera portfolio to 88 cafés across eight states through a community-focused approach to operational excellence.

Today, Hamra owns and operates 191 locations under Panera Bread, Wendy’s, Noodles & Company, and Caribou Coffee, employing over 6,000+ people across 12 states.

Since its inception, Hamra Enterprises has contributed more than $7.2 million to nonprofit partners nationwide. Long-term partnerships include Boston Children’s Hospital, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, Make-A-Wish® Illinois, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Hamra is proud to announce their new partnership with Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana in Texas. Hamra plans to open seven Panera Bread bakery-cafes in Texas, beginning with Spring and Katy in July 2026, creating around 280 jobs.
