About Us

Harris County ESD 11 provides 911 emergency medical services to the northern portion of Harris County—an area roughly 25 miles north of the City of Houston with a population of over 700,000 people. ESD 11 covers 177 square miles and responds to more than 65,000 emergencies annually.

Harris County ESD 11 operates a fleet of over 40 advanced life support ambulances licensed by the state of Texas. The ambulances are staffed with experienced Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs). We respond to over 65,000 medical emergencies yearly.
