Pearl Fincher Museum: Dia de los Muertos and Artisan Market

The Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts will host their fifth annual Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration on Saturday, November 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.   This family-friendly event will feature a community ofrenda, art activities, face painting and more! Entertainment includes performances by Itzcoatl Tezkatlipoka dance at 11 a.m., Ballet Folklorico at 1 p.m., and music by David Austin at 10 a.m. and Noon.   As part of the event, an Artisan Market will offer items for sale by local artists, including watercolor prints, jewelry, ceramics, and floral arrangements.   Guests are encouraged to dress in traditional costumes and bring art, photos, or other items of loved ones to add to the public ofrenda.
