Event Description:
Harris County ESD 11 Mobile Healthcare is proud to host our 2024 summer blood drive. We will have the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center Donor Coach on site on July 18th from 8:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. for those wishing to donate blood and save lives.
While 1 in 7 hospitalized people will need a blood transfusion in a lifetime, only 1 in 20 eligible blood donors actually donate. There is no substitute for blood and each donation can save up to 3 lives.
