American photographer Mark Burns has spent the past 5 years taking photos at all 59 of America's national parks. The Pearl Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts will have a select few of those photos on display for the Summer 2016 exhibition.

Margaret Smithers-Crump turns Plexiglas into works of art in her show Vital, on display at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts. Smithers-Crump focuses on the power of water, it's ability to give life,take life and change lives.

Join us at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts for Drop-In Art Wednesday! Enjoy free art activities from 3-4pm each Wednesday until August 3rd. Every week we'll spotlight a different U.S. National Park currently featured in our summer exhibition, The National Parks-Select Images by American Photographer Mark Burns.

The Ambassadors promote goodwill to Chamber members, provide a direct personal contact for Chamber members by mentoring new members, and support Chamber member retention efforts. Ambassadors are “the friendly front-line face of the Chamber” and as such are asked to support and participate in various Chamber activities. Areas of primary responsibility include: ribbon cutting ceremonies, luncheons, routine member visits and phone calls, and hosting at other Chamber events.
 
 

The Membership Committee will work to ensure the Chamber meets it stated annual Member Recruitment and Retention goals through active recruitment of new members and active contact with current members.
 
 

Membership Meet & Greets are held every first Wednesday of the month from 5-7 p.m. Join us to meet Chamber members, shake some hands, talk about your business and learn how the Chamber might support your business from those in the community who know first-hand about the benefits - other Chamber members.

Everyone is invited to this no-program event held each month at different locations across our Chamber membership. This is no charge to attend - we are at the courtesy of our host each month.

Sgt Tracy Hicks of the Houston Police Auto Theft Department will speak not only about auto theft many other things connected with auto theft.  What are JUGGERS?  What are SLIDERS?  Craigs List Scams?  Why are 2008 and older cars even more likely to be stolen than newer cars?  Financial crimes?

 

Then…  Sgt Hicks and other officers will be there to etch your windows with your VIN numbers to make them less likely for theft.  He will tell you why that is so helpful and it won’t cost you anything. Plan to stay a little while after the presentation to have your windows etched.
