Events for February 2016

The Ambassadors promote goodwill to Chamber members, provide a direct personal contact for Chamber members by mentoring new members, and support Chamber member retention efforts. Ambassadors are “the friendly front-line face of the Chamber” and as such are asked to support and participate in various Chamber activities. Areas of primary responsibility include: ribbon cutting ceremonies, luncheons, routine member visits and phone calls, and hosting at other Chamber events.
 
 

The Membership Committee will work to ensure the Chamber meets it stated annual Member Recruitment and Retention goals through active recruitment of new members and active contact with current members.
 
 

Membership Meet & Greets are held every first Wednesday of the month from 5-7 p.m. Join us to meet Chamber members, shake some hands, talk about your business and learn how the Chamber might support your business from those in the community who know first-hand about the benefits - other Chamber members.

Everyone is invited to this no-program event held each month at different locations across our Chamber membership. This is no charge to attend - we are at the courtesy of our host each month.

The Northwest Flyers Youth Track Club will celebrate its 29th Anniversary Season by hosting its annual free Registration/Orientation breakfast on Saturday, February 6th, 2016, for boys and girls ages 6 ? 18. The breakfast starts promptly at 8:30 AM at the Cypress Creek Christian Community Center Forum located at 6823 Cypresswood Dr., Spring, TX, 77379. The event will be highlighted by a special presentation from a member of the USA Track &Field Olympic organization (USATF). All athletes and parents who wish to join the Northwest Flyers must attend the orientation. The club is sanctioned by USA Track & Field (USATF) and provides a full range of ?track? events such as sprints, hurdles, middle distance, distance and relays, and ?field? events such as long jump, triple jump, high jump, pole vault, shot put, discus and javelin. Northland Christian School Preschool & Elementary Campus Open House

The Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a candidate forum, and the event will feature both republican and democratic candidates from Texas House Districts 126, 130 and 150.

Member Luncheons are are held each month of the year except for July. Luncheons are intended to connect local businesses and Members to each other and to the community. Each luncheon has a different speaker and topic. This is a great sponsorship opportunity.  We encourage all of our members to attend these luncheons to network and surround yourself and your business with other businesses just like yours. Early registration is suggested and appreciated. 

This month's luncheon will be a Candidate Forum featuring candidates for House Districts 126 and 150.  Please join us for this important event!

This special celebration recognizes the 2015-16 Touch the Future honorees and the winners of the Klein Education Foundation student multimedia contest. Klein Collins alumni, Sanah Jivani, founder of the Love Your Natural Self Foundation, concludes the evening as the keynote speaker. In seventh grade, she was diagnosed with Alopecia which caused her hair to fall out. Don't miss this opportunity to hear Jivani as she shares messages of hope, courage commitmentand love that touch and transform audiences of all ages.

Students will learn about admissions, financial aid, campus life and student services through workshops and browsing areas. The event will offer food and fun with a photo booth, face painting and cotton candy.
