Community: Start Training for Marathon or Half Marathon with USA Fit Champions
Do you have running a marathon or half marathon on your bucket list? Do you want to get in shape or need a new fitness goal? Then join USA Fit Champions at our orientation eventon Saturday, July 18,from 7 - 9 am and start training with us! Learn more about our marathon and half marathon training program, meet your coaches and fellow members, register onsite and come prepared to start your first day of training with an easy pace run to place you in your specific training group. You can also register online at www.ChampionsFit.net. No matter how much you?ve run (or haven?t!), we have a training group for every skill level, so you?ll always have someone to train with. Over the course of 29 short weeks, our coaches will help you achieve your personal best in a non-intimidating, fun, and safe environment. If you miss orientation?you can still register online at www.ChampionsFit.net through August 31 and join us for your first day of training on any Saturday between now and September 5. As a member of USA Fit Champions, you?ll receive: ? Ability-based weekly group runs ? Daily training schedules to keep you progressing during the week ? 9449 Grant Road, Houston, TX 77070 The SAT is undergoing its biggest change in 30 years, affecting the Class of 2017 and beyond. Change can be scary but don’t worry. The Princeton Review has all the information you need. First, you will hear the ins and outs of the change from our expert instructor. We will explore the differences and how to give you a head start on the new SAT. After, students can take a FREE practice test. Choose an exam with questions likely to appear on the Redesigned SAT or take the Start Up. The Start Up is a chance to try out question that may appear on both the ACT and the redesigned SAT in one testing experience. It helps students decided between the SAT, ACT or both. All components of SAT Changes Day are FREE. Registration is required. SAT is a registered trademark of the College Board, which is not affiliated with The Princeton Review. we go to many different locations and produce pop up fashion shows all over the world. Would like some suggestion about coming to houston in 2 weeks. I help educate, all models, actors and entertainers and teach them the ropes of runway modeling, giving them the experience of participating in a world wide fashion showcase. They get the opportunity to become a face among 5000 vendors with other opportunity for modeling .

Give your child a summer to remember! Fruition Technology Labs is offering a challenging series of interactive tech-focused classes at TutorVille to challenge young minds to discover the world around them and to learn more about themselves. SESSION 2: AUGUST 3 ? 21 MOONSHOT JUNIOR ENTREPRENEURS MoonShot seeks to help kids explore their individual greatness as beginning entrepreneurs. We will provide the tools, training, resources and mentorship they need to develop their personal interests in a structured environment. At the end, kids will meet goals they set and turn their visions into real business opportunities. Ages 10+; 5 days per week (M ? F); 2 hours per day CODE WARRIORS Does your child spend hours in front of the computer or playing video games every day? Channel that love of technology into a challenging, fun earning opportunity! Code Warriors will learn programming languages (the same used by large tech companies!) to build their cool software and games. Ages 6+; REQUIRED: Internet-ready laptop; 5 days per week (M ? F); 1 hour per day VIRTUAL WORLD EXPLORERS If your kids can?t travel the world, let us bring the world to them! Each class will introduce your child to the culture, food, flora, fauna, economy and government of three different countries. Kids will even get to ?meet? a special guest from our focus areas via Skype to share their personal stories and insights into their homelands, bringing the lessons to life. Ages 6+; 2 days per week; 70 ? 90 minutes per day MAD SCIENTISTS WANTED! In this exciting, hands-on adventure, kids will learn about energy, how to harness it from the sun to power things like robots and cars, and how electronics help our day-to-day lives. They will build their own cool projects to enhance their understanding of technology. Project and guidance will be provided during the workshop. Ages 8+; 3 days per week; 90 minutes per day READING BOOSTERS You and your child will have access to 3 months of online lessons, powered by fun, interactive online reading program DezPhonics. Ambassador Committee Meeting
The Ambassadors promote goodwill to Chamber members, provide a direct personal contact for Chamber members and for the community, and support Chamber member retention efforts. Ambassadors are “the face of the Chamber” and as such are asked to support and participate in various Chamber activities. Areas of primary responsibility include: ribbon cutting ceremonies, luncheons, routine member visits and phone calls, and hosting at other Chamber events.
