Northland Christian School is hosting an open house for prospective families to learn how we prepare Christian leaders for college, life ... and FOREVER!

The Ambassadors promote goodwill to Chamber members, provide a direct personal contact for Chamber members and for the community, and support Chamber member retention efforts. Ambassadors are “the face of the Chamber” and as such are asked to support and participate in various Chamber activities. Areas of primary responsibility include: ribbon cutting ceremonies, luncheons, routine member visits and phone calls, and hosting at other Chamber events.
 

The Membership Committee will work to ensure the Chamber meets it stated annual Member Recruitment and Retention goals through active recruitment of new members and active contact with current members.
 
 

Membership Meet & Greets are held every first Wednesday of the month from 5-7 p.m. Join us to meet Chamber members, shake some hands, talk about your business and learn how the Chamber might support your business from those in the community who know first-hand about the benefits - other Chamber members.

Everyone is invited to this no-program event held each month at different locations across our Chamber membership. This is no charge to attend - we are at the courtesy of our host each month.

Task Force membership is by invitation.

On Saturday, November 7, Mercedes-Benz of The Woodlands will host a special Veterans Breakfast for active and retired military veterans and their families at its luxury retail center on Interstate 45 North just north of Highway 242. The event will take place from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Co-owner and general manager Bob Milner felt it was an opportunity to maintain a common bond with those who have made great sacrifices in the name of freedom and security. Milner is a veteran himself, having served eight years in locations around the world as a forward air controller, military tactical training advisor and special operations planning specialist for the United States Air Force. The event, besides the complimentary breakfast, will include a flag presentation by the Oak Ridge High School JROTC, the Woodlands Symphony Orchestra playing the national anthem, and special guests. Member Luncheons are are held each month of the year except for July. Luncheons are intended to connect local businesses and Members to each other and to the community. Each luncheon has a different speaker and topic. This is a great sponsorship opportunity.  We encourage all of our members to attend these luncheons to network and surround yourself and your business with other businesses just like yours. Early registration is suggested and appreciated.

In November we will hear from guest speaker, Mark Antonio of Boss Marketer, who will discuss sales, social media and peak performance.  As Senior National Trainer for Tony Robbins, Mark has spent many years traveling the country helping thousands of top professionals increase their results.  This is an event you won't want to miss!

 

Government Affairs-Transportation Forum is our Chamber's means to educate ourselves of key issues and recommend action to the Chamber's Public Policy Council and/or Board.
Our speaker in November is Jill Boullion, executive director of the Greens Bayou Corridor Coalition on the status of GBCC projects
