The Women Business Enterprise Alliance (WBEA) & The Women's Business Center (WBC) are proud to present the WBC’s Business & Entrepreneurial Leadership Conference. The WBC’s collaborating sponsors are Houston Community College Procurement and Small Business Development and Goldman Sach’s 10,000 Small Businesses. We are focused on providing the building blocks to sure up our businesses: strategizing, gaining an edge and growing through sound business practices. This two day business and leadership conference will be held at Houston Community College’s West Institute, September 7-8, 2018. As we Follow the Yellow Brick Road, we will feature encouraging keynote speakers and dynamic breakout sessions designed for equipping Texas Entrepreneurs with help in getting and keeping a pulse on their business to thrive in today's business environment. We are committed to bringing 200 business thought leaders together in order to provide engaging, informative sessions on financials, financing, business development, operational best practices, leading a small business and work life mental health balance. This is a great opportunity to explore and strengthen an entrepreneur’s business acumen, cultivate their network, and connect with like-minded business owners. There will be three targeted business paths that have been crafted to enhance their business needs: Enterprising Businesses (under $4M in revenue), Start Up Businesses (less than $350K in revenue) and the Corp-Preneur (business professionals interested in transitioning by way of ownership or investment). In an effort to nurture and cultivate young people interested in entrepreneurship as a career option, Saturday will highlight a special track for the “Munchkin” Young Entrepreneur ages 12-18.
