Name: Summer Exhibitions at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts
Date: June 13, 2026 - September 5, 2026
Event Description:
Summer at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts is designed with families in mind, and this summer is all about color!   The Main Gallery will feature an original exhibition, “Chromatica: A World in Color.” Organized like a color wheel, the exhibit includes a wonderful array of art from paintings, to textiles, to sculpture and more.   A Maker Space brings hands-on fun to the exploration of color, with craft stations, a LEGO® build station, sound and light panel, and other fun activities. The Maker Space is generously sponsored by AAUW North Harris County Branch, with additional support from the Houston Brick Club, Bricks & Minifigs Spring, and Bricks & Minifigs Tomball. In the Cole Gallery, artist Curtis Gannon presents, “Fragments, Remnants, and Remains.” Gannon’s collage imagery is grounded in a childhood love of comic books and animation.   Summer exhibitions run June 13 through September 5, 2026. Museum hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free!
