SPEAKER: Wren Nealy, Jr., Assistant Executive Director of Cypress Creek EMS

Wren Nealy Jr. is a certified Paramedic and Licensed Peace Officer in the State of Texas. He is the Assistant Executive Director of Cypress Creek EMS (CCEMS) a non-profit, 501 c(3), 911 EMS Provider for 550,000 residents of unincorporated (Houston) Harris County, TX. CCEMS Special Operations provides tactical operational medical support to various local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. He is a Reserve Lieutenant and Former Asst SWAT Commander for the Waller County Sheriff’s Office. He helped develop the agencies first SWAT team serving two years as Team Leader and then three years as Asst Commander of Operations and Training. In 2005, Wren was commissioned as a Special Agent of the Louisiana State Police in 2005.

• 27 years’ experience as a 911 paramedic
• 22 years’ experience in law enforcement with 18 years of experience in SWAT operations
• Experienced in field supervision, and administrative positions in both disciplines
• Manages Operations, Communications, Clinical Operations, Special Operations, Logistics, Information Technology, Maintenance, Community Relations, and Public Information
• Special Operations Group - Tactical Medic, Bike Medic, First Responders, and Emergency/Disaster Preparedness
• Instructor TCOLE (POST), IPMBA, TASER, Firearms, Use of Force, Safariland SIM/NFDD, PHTLS/TCCC/TECC
• Program Director of the CCEMS Tactical Operational Medical Support training program
• Vice-Chair of the Emergency Services Sector - US Homeland Security
• Board Member (non-profit associations) IPMBA and IPSA
• A developer of specialized programs INTEGRATING all First Responders
• Recipient of the NTOA TEMS AWARD 2015

He has developed several specialized training programs for public safety personnel INTEGRATING EMS, FIRE, and Law Enforcement to train and work together for improved response capabilities. He is an accomplished author and public speaker on EMS Special Operations presenting at state and national conferences.
