Mid-week Services for Lent

Kinsmen Lutheran Church welcomes the community to journey together through the season of Lent, a 40-day period of reflection and preparation leading up to Easter. A series of mid-week services, “One on One With Jesus,” will be offered on Wednesday evenings from March 4 to April 1. Services begin at 7 p.m. and will be based on the Holden Evening Prayer, written by Marty Haugen. Dinner is available at 5:45 p.m. In addition, three new adult classes will be offered at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings. “Letting Jesus Shape Your Life” is a six-week study for Lent, exploring practical ways to allow the life of Jesus to shape your own life. “The Bible’s Big Story/Our Story” is a four-week Biblical overview that helps participants visualize the Bible’s sequence of events and understand the message from Genesis to Revelation. Finally, “Learn Spanish” will be taught by Pastor Gabriel Marcano for those interested in learning the Spanish language. Register for any of these classes at www.kinsmenlutheran.org.
