Monarch Chamber Players at Kinsmen Lutheran Church
Event Description:
On April 4 at 7PM, we welcome the Monarch Chamber Players to a concert at Kinsmen. The concert will present a selection of French music for piano and strings. This program will include a medley of Edith Piaf songs, a quartet by Gabriel Fauré, and music by Houston composer Emma Wine. In between, the musicians will introduce the music and tell the audience about these selections. There will be a reception after the concert, too.
Monarch Chamber Players is a nonprofit, Houston-based ensemble dedicated to taking classical music out of the concert hall and into accessible public spaces. They are appearing courtesy of a grant from the Texas Commission for the Arts. This concert will be free and open to the public, so bring your family and friends!
