Event Description:
An hour of music by Italian composers that span centuries, from the early music of Paganini and Vivaldi to romantic Respighi (Ancient Airs and Dances), to Italian-American Henry Mancini! Of course, Italians love their opera; our tenor Don O’Neal LeBlanc will sing the greatest hits of Puccini and Rossini opera, including a Verdi aria heard in 18 different movies. (We’ll let you know which movies!) Pianist Dr. Heejung Kang, violinist LeeAnne Chenoweth, plus guest artist and Spring resident, Jeffrey Adams on flute. Please stay for refreshments at the reception!
