Date: October 21, 2017
Time: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM CDT
Event Description:
Bridgeland®’s 9th Annual Howl-O-Ween Fest will feature headlining act The Super Collies, contestants on the latest season of America’s Got Talent. The dog-centric event will take place at Bridgeland’s Oak Meadow Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 21. The Super Collies are led by Sara Carson, one of the top dog trick instructors in the world. The talented group has also been featured on The Late Show with David Letterman and The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Carson and The Super Collies will be joined by the Dynamo Dogs, Houston Disc Dogs and The Amazing Blake. All four groups will be part of a stage schedule that offers new acts performing every 30 minutes. Visitors who know how talented their own pooches are can enter them in a doggie fashion show and costume contest. The top three winners will receive gift cards.

Don’t have a four-legged friend to bring? Local animal rescue groups including Adore Houston, Friends for Life, Houston Collie Rescue, Houston SPCA, New Best Friend, Puppy Up Spring-Houston and Special Pals will be on hand with pet adoptions.

Howl-O-Ween Fest will also feature almost two dozen local Houston food trucks, kids’ activities sponsored by The Foundry, a pumpkin patch, farmers market, pumpkin decorating, face painting, dock diving with the Houston Disc Dogs and a large vendor area with pet products and services.

Admission and most activities at Howl-O-Ween Fest are free of charge while a few will fetch a small donation. All proceeds from the event will be donated to participating rescue groups.
