Event Description:
Travel through the ages at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts' Summer 2017 Art Camps! This week's camp is for 8 to 12 year olds and will explore three-dimensional art forms such as carving, assemblages, sculptures, and installation art.
Additional camps are available June 19 through July 21, for ages 8 to 12 and 13 to 18. With a theme of "Contemporary Art Through the Ages," the Pearl's one-week camps will explore the materials, tools and technology used by ancient cultures of Europe, Australia, Egypt, China and more.
Each camp meets Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts. Space is limited to 16 students per camp. To register or for complete details please visit www.pearlmfa.org.
