Community: Habitat Young Professionals Committee Meeting

This will be our May Habitat Young Professionals Committee Meeting. HYP is seeking young professionals from all backgrounds to take on leadership roles as the Habitat Young Professionals Committee. Join us as we discuss how HYP will serve the affiliate and our community. We will discuss our short term and long term goals for the group. We encourage your input and are excite to meet you all! Email Rachel@habitatnwhc.org Volunteer Service – The HYP Committee will provide members with opportunities to participate in constructing Habitat homes, renovating existing homes through the Home Repair Program, organizing and selling donated materials at the Habitat ReStore, and assisting with other activities to support the mission of Habitat Northwest Harris County. Advocacy and Awareness – The HYP Committee will host a number of social events where members will have a chance to network with other professionals and share their Habitat experiences. The purpose of these events will be to advocate for and spread awareness about Habitat for Humanity Northwest Harris County and HYP NWHC and build the membership base. Fundraising – The HYP Committee will aid in the planning of special events to raise money for Habitat for Humanity Northwest Harris County so they can continue to build homes and provide services.
