Event Description:
The Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts warmly invites the community to their Eighth Annual Afternoon Tea, "Deep in the ART of Texas," on November 9. The event will honor State Representative Kevin Roberts, and is co-chaired by Gina Wolford and Susan Cofran. With an all-Texas theme including wildflowers, denim, and rhinestones the Afternoon Tea promises to be a fun event for all. Entertainment will be provided by Julia Laskowski, who sang the title role in "Always...Patsy Cline." Guest speaker will be Nathan Jones, curator of the Bryan Museum in Galveston which houses one of the world's largest collections of historical artifacts, documents and artwork relating to Texas and the American West. Tickets are $50 per person with tables of 10 ranging from $500 to $5,000. Sponsorships are also available at a variety of levels.
