Art Workshop: Encaustic Wax Photo Transfer

Learn to paint with wax with Houston artist Shauna Martin!

In this specialty workshop, you’ll be using your own black and white photos and tissue paper of all colors to create beautifully layered compositions! You’ll also be incising and tinting the surface with pigment sticks. ALL supplies included.

This 2 hour workshop is designed for artists of all levels, even those new to encaustic painting. To save time, Shauna will contact you via email to collect a copy of your favorite B&W image. She will have it printed for you and ready to go for class. Don’t worry, she will also walk you through the entire printing process so that you can easily continue this exciting medium in your own home. You will leave this workshop with your very own 8”x10” encaustic work of art on wood!
