As a designated center for Community of Hope International\, Kinsmen trains lay people to serve in pastoral care at assisted living centers\, hospitals\, or anywhere they feel called. Lay chaplains take the opportunity\, one on one\, to listen to those who have a need--whether they are grieving\, facing a health concern\, or even celebrating a joy such as the birth of a baby.\n\n\n\nThe next training session will begin Tuesday\, August 22 and continue weekly through November 28 (no class the week of Thanksgiving).
