The City of Houston, through its TweetMyJobs Houston! initiative, is proud to announce the Inaugural, Hire Me Now! Job Fair, which will take place on Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, at the BBVA Compass Stadium. This event is expected to attract hundreds of local businesses that are hiring at all levels and thousands of job seekers. Our goal is to bring these groups together to discover new job opportunities and further grow our business economy. ------------------------------- ?TweetMyJobs Houston!? is a new, mobile platform powered by TweetMyJobs that revolutionizes recruitment by incorporating mobile and social media. It is the connective thread that distributes local jobs and matches qualified job seekers with employers. This impressive free service for job seekers and small business owners has seen success in the short period since its launch. Outlined below are some of the highlights: * Since its launch, TweetMyJobs Houston has seen more than 7,800 job seekers land an interview or a job utilizing the site. * TweetMyJobs Houston! currently has over 140,000 Houston area jobs posted. * The service has saved more than $750,000 in job posting and recruitment fees for our local businesses.
