Community: Super Tax Day

Children's Books On Wheels Financial Literacy Project "VITA Solutions For Communities" will provide tax services. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax assistance by IRS certified volunteers to help people with an annual income $56,000 or less, persons with disabilities and limited English speaking taxpayers. Services are available in English, Spanish and Vietnamese. There will be several mobile tax sites thorough out the county at different locations and dates for the upcoming tax season, including other community resources and referrals. These services benefits all qualifying residents in Montgomery County. Partners assisting with the program include the IRS, WICKed Publicity, Conroe Central Library, Woodforest Bank, and Entergy. Entergy will send email blasts to their customers to advise them of the dates and locations for VITA help.
